We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant (FTC, 6 months) to lead on attracting and selecting talent, support recruitment, and enable the business to prioritise its hiring in accordance with its commercial needs. You will also support the overall employer of choice agenda and be part of a global talent acquisition function.
Role accountabilities
- Proactively go to market via multiple sourcing channels to attract the best possible talent for our teams.
- Use your market knowledge and best practice to advise stakeholders on process and ensure all roles are sourced effectively.
- Position the firm as an employer of choice while conducting candidate screening and interviewing prospective candidates.
- Manage a high volume of permanent vacancies across diverse levels and skill sets, ensuring priorities are identified and met.
- Manage the overall candidate experience, ensuring a positive outcome for all individuals, regardless of outcome.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and various stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
- Advocate for our values and ensure recruitment processes are inclusive and free of bias.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced recruiter, likely having started in an agency/RPO before transitioning to in‑house, with strong knowledge of identifying and approaching talent in niche, skill‑short markets.
- Significant familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searching, and best practice use of Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Significant experience hiring Engineering or Program/Project Management talent; experience in an AEC environment considered an asset.
- Ability to credibly advise stakeholders on recruiting best practice.
- Capable of confidently and articulately contributing to Talent Acquisition discussions and demonstrating a proactive, positive, and curious mindset.
- Able to overcome setbacks, learn, and continue to develop.
- Happy to positively challenge the norm, evidencing a continuous improvement mindset to assist our journey.
- Driven and determined, yet empathetic to the needs of various stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
