Role description: As a Senior Cost Manager in the property sector, you’ll deliver cost and commercial management for medium to large projects, collaborating with clients, consultants, and teams to ensure projects meet budget, time, and quality goals.

We are seeking a technically skilled leader who is passionate about mentoring others and driving innovation in cost management.

Role accountabilities: Manage cost planning and delivery for medium to large projects, ensuring alignment with controls and quality standards Support and mentor team members to build capability and share best practice Take ownership of key project elements, manage resources, and meet deadlines Identify and escalate project risks, providing recommendations to ensure successful outcomes Analyse data and documents to inform cost management decisions and drive service improvement Collaborate across teams and with clients, sharing technical advice and ensuring satisfaction Apply industry best practices and contribute to process innovation Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, supporting business growth Qualifications & Experience: Proven cost management experience, ideally in residential projects Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Able to manage projects from inception to completion Skilled in Cost X or similar software Degree-qualified with relevant professional/chartered status CSCS card holder Demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.

Familiarity with current industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
