We're looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in the Nordics. The candidate will be based either 100% in country, or will have significant international travel to Norway (11/3 rotations).
Role accountabilities:
- Provide direction and support for implementation of the EHS & Security Plan.
- Verify that the project/site-specific EHS procedures protect personnel and the general public.
- Hold line management accountable for EHS Management System implementation and performance.
- Encourage the proactive involvement of all personnel in executing the EHS program.
- Oversee EHS performance on the project/site.
- Review incident records and verify that all followâup actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure incidents where personal injuries occur are thoroughly and appropriately investigated and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
- Participate in audits and weekly planned inspections of the site and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
- Continuously monitor Arcadis and contractor EHS performance indicators and project/site inspection reports.
- Conduct performance evaluations to include personal EHS involvement and performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive experience in a Contracts EHS Manager role on major construction projects.
- Experience working on data centre/technology projects preferred but not essential.
- Experience working in consultancy, general contractor or clientâside environments.
