To lead and manage the construction phase of data centre projects, ensuring delivery to client requirements, within time, cost, and quality standards, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. You will be the primary site representative, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver high-availability mission‑critical infrastructure.

Location
Working in Country on 11/3 rotation or long‑term assignment options (Finland or Norway)

Preconstruction Phase

  • Collaborate with architects and owners to advise on materials, methods, systems, phasing, and cost strategies.
  • Support design development by providing constructability reviews and recommendations.
  • Assist in developing bid packages and trade contract strategies.

Construction Phase

  • Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate construction activities across disciplines.
  • Establish and maintain procedures for shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and approvals.
  • Manage the progress of works against schedule and budget, reporting deviations and proposing mitigation actions.
  • Manage the Arcadis team to ensure attendance and full coverage of all site activities.

General Duties

  • Act as the primary site representative, liaising with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work complies with contract documents and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and support handover processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in managing large‑scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and environmental compliance.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIOB, PMP) preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent understanding of construction methods, sequencing and safety.
  • Proficient in project scheduling tools and document control systems.
  • Effective communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
