Role description

Play a key role delivering tech sector mega-projects. We are looking for an experienced Associate CSA Project Manager/Owner’s Representative to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in delivering one of our biggest data centre construction projects in Finland. You can be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to Finland or Norway.

Role accountabilities

  • You’ll be responsible for managing all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out/fit-up.
  • Pre-construction
    • Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget.
    • Supporting Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
    • Supporting contract negotiations.
    • Assisting the client and the Client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of all Owner-direct vendors and consultants.
  • Construction
    • Managing the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground.
    • Coordinating Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase.
    • Working with the Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking.
    • Liaising with the Client’s schedule management team to provide Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis.
  • Close out/Fit up
    • Initiating close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance.
    • Establishing close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller.
    • Collect and track receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts.
