We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Technical Director / Principal Water Engineer to join our Climate Adaptation team delivering design, strategic and advisory services on wide ranging projects within the water and environmental sector. You will join a team of 90+ people who provide services across the whole Climate Adaptation spectrum including hydrology, flood management, hydraulic and network modelling, river and coastal engineering, flood defence, surface water and urban drainage, dams and reservoirs and water environmental studies.
Our team is growing and adapting to meet our client’s challenges in managing water, to increase resilience and improve quality of life for local communities. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking water professional who has strong technical skills and knowledge in dams and reservoirs, design of hydraulic structures, canals and river engineering works. The work will be varied and technically challenging.
You can expect to be working on a wide range of engineering projects ranging from dams and reservoirs engineering, to scour protection for road and rail bridges and new weirs to watercourse diversions. Our clients are from private and public sector, and include the Environment Agency, the Canal.
