b Overview /b p As Assistant Design Manager, you join the Design Project Management team to guide multi-disciplinary design delivery for defence or technology projects. You’ll coordinate internal and external design activities, manage budget and resources, and engage clients and stakeholders. You’ll work closely with the Arcadis Project Manager to deliver high-quality design outcomes within timescales. This role offers a chance to shape complex projects at scale and contribute to sustainable, integrated solutions. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Guide technical delivery and integration of multi-disciplinary design projects /li li Provide leadership and delivery excellence across design activities /li li Facilitate meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders /li li Identify design and project risks throughout the lifecycle /li li Coordinate design with procurement, planners, environment, construction and operations teams /li li Support successful client outcomes in collaboration with the Project Manager /li li Understand PM concepts, tools and techniques and apply them in practice /li li Navigate changing priorities and manage constraints in complex engineering problems /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li BA/BSc/BEng or MA/MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline /li li Defence and/or Technology sector experience desirable /li li Chartered or equivalent professional accreditation recommended /li li Experience in Design Management within a Client/Consultancy environment (ideally) /li li Knowledge of BIM-led design and Autodesk suite of products /li li Strong integration, stakeholder and communication management skills /li li Familiarity with programme software applications /li li Excellent written English and technical report writing skills /li /ul ul li collaboration /li li communication /li li influence and stakeholder management /li li BIM-led design /li li Autodesk suite of products /li li integration of multi-disciplinary design /li /ul
