b Overview /b p In this role, you support cost verification work within Arcadis’ Cost and Commercial Assurance team to help clients make informed commercial decisions. You will analyse financial data, assess contractual compliance, and present evidence-based recommendations alongside a Senior Cost Consultant. You’ll work with project and finance teams to extract key information and contribute to practical close-out reports. This role offers exposure to various sectors and the chance to mentor junior colleagues while travelling to client sites. You’ll be part of a mission-driven firm delivering sustainable solutions and shaping how clients manage costs at scale. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage defined areas of cost verification commissions /li li Analyse cost data against contractual and commercial principles /li li Review cost and commercial management systems and processes /li li Undertake data sampling, payroll and employment contract audits /li li Work with project and finance teams to obtain and understand key information /li li Produce working papers, close-out reports and practical recommendations /li li Present findings clearly to contractors and other stakeholders /li li Support and mentor junior colleagues /li li Travel to client sites and other UK locations when required /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree in Quantity Surveying, Accountancy or related discipline (ideal) /li li Experience of cost systems such as COINS, SAP, ICON or Oracle /li li Strong Microsoft Excel skills /li li Knowledge of target cost or cost-reimbursable construction contracts /li li Ability to analyse and interpret complex data /li li Strong organisation and attention to detail /li li Clear, confident communication with stakeholders at different levels /li li Ability to work independently and collaborate to meet deadlines /li li Professional membership (MRICS, ACCA or FCA) advantageous but not essential /li /ul ul li clear communication /li li collaboration /li li attention to detail /li li COINS /li li SAP /li li ICON /li /ul
