Role Description:
We’re excited to be growing our Industrial Manufacturing Cost Management team. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to join us delivering high-profile manufacturing facilities for market leading global clients. As part of our Cost Management team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of projects from global and high profile to small and impactful, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget. Your expertise in planning, estimating, budgeting, and managing costs will drive growth and smarter working.

Role Accountabilities:
In this role, you’ll lead our delivery of professional Cost Management services to high-profile clients, working on large industrial buildings and distribution centres across the UK and Europe. We have a number of very exciting megaprojects with global clients and frameworks for smaller UK schemes. You’ll deliver projects from inception through to completion and you will lead the strategy for clients and performance on these projects around procurement, cost, and value management. You’ll be supported to develop your career within a collaborative team environment, and you’ll have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team who are passionate about delivering an excellent service and positive outcomes for our clients. You will be pivotal in developing the careers of others in the team.
Qualifications & Experience:

You are technically capable with a passion for the industrial manufacturing sector and delivering exceptional results and come to us with:
- MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor
- Passionate about driving digital innovation in service and delivering exceptional results
- Proven experience working on large complex construction projects within the industrial manufacturing sector, or from within other heavy MEP sectors
- Ability to lead projects from inception to completion and guide clients on strategy
- Strong cost estimating experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build good client relationships
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
- Great leadership skills
