Our Water team is delivering some of the UK’s most complex projects that are diverse and technically demanding. We have an enviable reputation in the delivery of such schemes and are working closely with some of the UK’s most established and recognisable Water companies and Contractors.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to help support our multiple Frameworks across the UK. The role will require input into Optioneering, Feasibility, Outline and Detailed design covering Wastewater & Clean water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects and is a significant opportunity for the right person to grow their experience and skills, to get involved with the UK’s future water and environmental improvement schemes and to join the growing Arcadis UK
Role accountabilities:

Have a keenness and willingness to learn and develop new engineering skills, take on specific tasks and engineering assignments across the project life cycle

Develop and grow experience using innovative new solutions using the latest design software and 3D techniques

Preparation of high-quality outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction-Ready documentation

Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables

Work in collaboration with clients, contractors, the supply chain, other project stakeholders and wider team members

Work in accordance with our Business Management processes and procedures

Assist in achieving wider business goals for positive Safety, Health, Quality and Sustainability outcomes

Develop a wider knowledge including commercial, programme and finance

Grow and develop your personal skillsets towards chartership and furthering your career

Have a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Made positive progress toward achieving Chartered or Incorporated status or equivalent professional accreditation

Have previous experience in the water industry

Is highly motivated and can influence outcomes

Is a collaborator with good people and inter-personal skills

Has a working knowledge and/or experience of BIM led design and Civils 3D

Has a good working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water Specifications
