Role description
Play a key role delivering tech sector mega-projects. We are looking for an experienced Associate CSA Project Manager/Owner’s Representative to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in delivering one of our biggest data centre construction projects in Finland. You can be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to Finland or Norway.
Role accountabilities
- You’ll be responsible for managing all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out/fit-up.
- Day-to-day this includes but is not limited to:
- Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget.
- Supporting Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
- Supporting contract negotiations.
- Assisting the client and the Client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of all Owner-direct vendors and consultants.
- Managing the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground.
- Coordinating Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase.
- Working with the Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking.
- Liaising with the Client’s schedule management team to provide Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis.
- Initiating close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance.
- Establishing close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller.
- Collect and track receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.
- Assisting with City and/or other Authority final inspections and occupancy process.
- Assisting the Client in scheduling, coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors, consultants.
Qualifications & Experience

- Experience working on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds, would be advantageous.
- Ability to commit to significant international travel.
