We are recruiting for a Senior Transport Planner to support our growing portfolio of development planning and local authority projects who have a passion for sustainability, client care and technical delivery. Candidates will need to demonstrate knowledge and application of transport policy, current and emerging transport planning practices and the ability to work flexibly across different projects.
Our current client portfolio includes Homes England, property developers, Local and Combined and National Highways. The Transport Planning team operates across the UK. We require a proven Senior Transport Planner with mixed experience with public and private sector clients to join this established and enthusiastic team to work on existing and upcoming projects. This is an exciting time to join a growing team, with significant opportunities to work in parallel with the broader Arcadis teams, together with a wide range of internal and external clients.
Role accountabilities:
- Transport Planning delivery: Produce consistently high-quality deliverables.
- Engagement with client and key stakeholders.
- Support the development of bids and client care plans.
- Engagement with technical excellence groups and knowledge sharing.
- Create environment for and deploy automated solutions to repeatable processes which improve efficiency and lower our cost of delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and experience working within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
- Proven track record of delivery of local transport strategy and/or development planning support.
- Experienced in the successful delivery of projects, ideally in both the private and public sectors.
