Arcadis is seeking a Data Analyst: Project Delivery to support the delivery of data‑driven solutions across major projects, programmes, and enterprise functions. Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, you will support the collection, assurance, transformation, and analysis of complex datasets to enable reporting, governance, and decision‑making. Using tools such as Microsoft Fabric, you will contribute to building reliable, efficient data pipelines and products. The role combines strong technical delivery with collaboration, including engaging with stakeholders to resolve data queries, improve data quality, and enhance overall product performance through optimisation, automation, and secure data management practices. As part of an existing project pipeline you will be required to be in office a minimum of 2 days a week.

Role Accountabilities

  • Support the collection, ingestion, and transformation of data from multiple sources into structured data platforms
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using tools such as Microsoft Fabric and associated technologies
  • Apply data assurance practices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets
  • Support the analysis and preparation of data to enable reporting, dashboards, and programme governance
  • Identify opportunities to improve data performance through optimisation and automation
  • Embed considerations for data quality, information security, and cyber security within data solutions
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and project teams to understand data requirements and resolve issues
  • Respond to stakeholder queries and support troubleshooting of data-related issues
  • Maintain clear documentation of data processes and structures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data management practices and standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience or knowledge of data engineering, data management, or analytical environments
  • Exposure to working with complex datasets within project, programme, or enterprise contexts
  • Experience of data engineering for project & programme delivery context (e.g. in a PMO), and/or enterprise level in a highways, rail or transportation sector
  • Understanding of data quality, data assurance, and structured data environments
  • Familiarity with data tools or platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, or equivalent)

Training / Background

  • Data engineering, data analytics, or computer science disciplines
  • Project, PMO, or project controls environments involving structured data and reporting
  • Digital or technology‑focused roles involving data processing or automation OR equivalent demonstrable experience working with data in complex environments
  • Awareness of information security and cyber security principles in data handling
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and communicate clearly to resolve data issues
  • Interest in automation, optimisation, and continuous improvement
