We are seeking an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Services Supervisor to manage and coordinate facilities management activities across multiple school sites. This role is essential for the smooth delivery of planned preventative and reactive maintenance services, ensuring statutory compliance, operational efficiency, and high standards of health and safety. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, using CAFM systems and strong communication to deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate PPM and reactive maintenance tasks across multiple school sites.
  • Raise and manage work orders and purchase orders for maintenance and compliance.
  • Liaise with contractors and allocate tasks to ensure effective and timely completion of works.
  • Use CAFM systems to track job workflows, records, and reports.
  • Manage the FM helpdesk and integrate FM processes with internal systems.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Ensure statutory documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor contractor performance, SLAs, and KPIs, reporting to senior management.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in facilities management, service coordination, or maintenance scheduling.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAFM or similar maintenance systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements, SLAs, and building maintenance standards.
  • Facilities Management qualification or IWFM membership (advantageous).
  • Experience in the education sector and a full UK driving licence (desirable).
