Arcadis is seeking a strategic minded Establishment Management Plan (EMP) Project Lead with a strong background in asset management consulting and facilities management, preferably with expertise in strategic masterplanning. The ideal candidate will be an asset management consultant with experience leading large projects and managing diverse multidisciplinary teams in Defence or the Public Sector.

Lead and execute the Establishment Management Plan (EMP) projects as the designated EMP Lead for Arcadis, producing asset management optimisation strategies for Defence Estate sites. Utilise excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex masterplanning and asset management concepts clearly to clients and external stakeholders. Employ strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to navigate project challenges and identify optimal solutions for effective asset management strategies.

Act as a strategic consultant, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance asset management processes and outcomes, including masterplanning components. Act as a technical expert within own projects, providing advice to other team members to support successful delivery in line with project objectives and strategies. Build and manage relationships with senior client project sponsors/stakeholders to keep all parties informed and aligned to meet objectives. Accountable for project budget and forecast. Have the ability to travel to the project site for stakeholder presentations and ad‑hoc team site visits.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experienced project lead managing complex high‑profile projects in the Defence and/or the Public Sectors.
  • Asset optimisation and estates management strategy experience.
  • Excellent verbal and report‑writing skills.
  • Design, building surveying and masterplanning skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Project management expertise within area of specialism.
  • Experience of managing business relationships at executive level.
  • Must hold an active or transferable Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • A Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) followed by an SC clearance is the minimum requirement.
