About the Position
Arcadia is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Training and Development Manager to lead and enhance the professional growth of our Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this pivotal role will oversee the strategic direction, execution, and evaluation of training and development programs within the department. The HR Training and Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all training initiatives align with Arcadia\'s organizational standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence. In this role, you will lead a team of 10 HR Training Consultants and 10 HR Development Consultants, guiding them in designing and delivering impactful training sessions while ensuring consistency in quality and effectiveness. You will conduct comprehensive reviews of training programs, provide feedback, and oversee both the development phase and execution to ensure high-impact learning experiences. Additionally, you will implement data-driven evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of training sessions, conducting monthly progress assessments to ensure continuous improvement. Beyond training initiatives, this role extends to mentoring and advising HR Development Consultants to ensure they provide effective guidance to junior HR professionals. You will monitor the quality of assigned records and reports, ensuring that documentation and feedback processes adhere to Arcadia\'s professional standards. By fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and strategic growth, you will play a key role in strengthening the capabilities of the HR team, ensuring they excel in their roles and contribute to the organization\'s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
As the HR Training and Development Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous professional growth and excellence of Arcadia\'s Human Resources team. Your responsibilities will include:
Training Program Oversight and Evaluation
- Lead the development, execution, and evaluation of training programs to ensure they align with Arcadia\'s HR standards and strategic objectives. Review training materials and provide expert feedback to enhance the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives. Conduct monthly progress assessments to measure the long-term benefits of training programs and ensure continuous improvement.
Development Consultation and Mentorship
- Oversee the work of HR Development Consultants, ensuring they provide high-quality guidance to junior HR professionals. Assess the effectiveness of advisory sessions and development strategies, ensuring consistency in mentorship approaches and alignment with Arcadia\'s professional expectations.
Performance Standards and Compliance
- Ensure that all training and development initiatives adhere to the organization\'s qualification criteria and HR best practices. Monitor the accuracy and consistency of record-keeping and reporting processes, ensuring that training documentation meets internal compliance standards.
Skills and Competencies Required:
Training Development and Execution
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating HR training programs. Strong ability to provide constructive feedback and enhance training materials to optimize learning outcomes.
HR Mentorship and Coaching
- Expertise in guiding HR professionals, with a focus on supporting junior team members through structured development programs and advisory initiatives.
Strategic Planning and Leadership
- Ability to develop and implement long-term training and development strategies that align with the organization\'s HR vision. Strong leadership skills to manage a team of 20 consultants and foster a high-performance learning culture.
Qualifications
- A Master\'s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in HR training and development are highly desirable but not mandatory
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR training, development, or leadership roles, with a strong focus on training program design, execution, and performance evaluation. Experience in managing training and development teams is essential
- Proven expertise in training methodology, instructional design, and learning principles, with experience in implementing HR development programs that enhance professional skills and organizational effectiveness..
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated work experience as a Manager or Director for at least 2 years in an HR training or development capacity. Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and implement strategic initiatives.
- Comfortable with part-time commitment, contributing 8–10 hours (20%) per week, with availability for remote work, selecting your own working hours.
- A motivational and empathetic leadership style, with a commitment to fostering inclusivity, integrity, and excellence. Strong interpersonal skills to inspire trust and credibility within the organization.
