Our client is seeking an accomplished Agency Director - or an ambitious Associate Director ready to step up - to join its thriving public and corporate affairs practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-achieving, collaborative team, advising a diverse portfolio of future-focused clients across regulated industries, energy, government, financial services, technology, healthcare, and more.
The Role
- You will lead client relationships and deliver strategic counsel on complex public affairs and corporate communications challenges, working with some of the most prominent organisations in the UK and internationally.
- You’ll drive new business, shape campaigns, and contribute to the agency’s continued growth and reputation for excellence.
Advisory & Public Affairs: Provide senior advisory support on stakeholder engagement, policy, and reputation management.
Client Portfolio: Advise clients from regulated sectors, energy, government, financial services, technology, and healthcare.
Business Development: Lead and contribute to business growth - your success will be directly tied to your impact and ambition.
Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing culture. This is a highly collegiate environment - success is shared.
Hybrid Working: The team values in-person collaboration and knowledge sharing; flexible hybrid arrangements, but regular office presence is essential.
About You
- Experience: Significant track record in a PR or communications agency, with a focus on public and corporate affairs. Solid relationships with the current Labour government will be highly valued in this role.
- Business Development: Demonstrable success in winning and growing client business.
- Ambition: Ready to step up, shape your own success, and play a central role in a growing agency.
- Generalist Sector Knowledge: The team is generalist offering corporate and public affairs advisory across a wide variety of clients such as regulated industries, energy, government, financial services, technology and healthcare. Experience across these sectors, or wider, is valued.
