Arcadia Medical is expanding our unlicensed medicines service, focusing on namedâpatient supply and support for shortages. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can create demand, convert opportunities, and build sustainable account value while maintaining high standards in accuracy, documentation, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a sales plan to grow unlicensed medicines revenue across the NHS, private hospitals, and B2B accounts
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline, with forecasting and conversion discipline
- Engage and influence procurement KOLs and stakeholder groups across pharmacy and medicines governance
- Work crossâfunctionally with procurement, quality, regulatory, and customer service to deliver a consistent, compliant service
- Support onboarding, service documentation, and tender or framework related requirements as needed
- Represent Arcadia Medical professionally in the market, building longâterm trust and repeat order patterns
Essential Experience
- Recent, demonstrable commercial success selling unlicensed medicines imports, including named patient supply and shortage solutions
- Strong understanding of hospital procurement decisionâmaking and stakeholder management
- Proven ability to manage a pipeline endâtoâend, from prospecting to conversion and retention
- Highly organised, accurate, and comfortable operating in a complianceâled environment
Desirable Experience
- Experience across both public and private hospital customers
- Existing relationships with procurementâled stakeholders and pharmacy decision makers
- Exposure to framework and tender environments
