About The Role

Given our exciting growth plans at Arcade, we are seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef based in London to support our upcoming opening in Covent Garden. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef that wants to join our Senior Team and further develop their leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Get the opportunity to steer and guide a sizeable team of chefs across multiple brands within one site
  • Ensure the delivery of consistent, high quality and innovative dishes
  • Play a key role in menu development
  • Manage the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control, budgeting and maintenance
  • Have the opportunity to lead, train and motivate your kitchen team
  • Take a lead role in ensuring our teams comply with health, safety and compliance procedures

What We’d Love To Hear From You

  • Bring previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high quality high volume environment
  • Have a strong working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures
  • Have strong knowledge of and practical understanding of all sections of the kitchen
  • Bring a highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail
  • Have a track record in managing, training and motivating a kitchen brigade
  • Have experience in managing staff costs, scheduling and reviewing staff rotas
  • Bring experience in reporting on kitchen finances and purchasing
  • Are a natural leader who is keen to progress your career with a bold restaurant group!
