Arcade Food Hall – Junior Sous Chef Arcade Food Hall at Centrepoint London, are recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to help oversee the operation of our global street food kitchens. This is a great opportunity and time for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to get onboard our fast growing group. Arcade Food Hall – Junior Sous Chef Located just off Tottenham Court Road, in London’s Centre Point, Arcade Food Hall showcases our core philosophy of creating multiple unique brands, and championing emerging food and drink talent, all under one roof. Nine brands fill the space: Plaza Khao Gaeng, Arcade’s flagship southern Thai restaurant; Hero Indian Fast Food, serving up North Indian street food; Middle Eastern shawarma kitchen Shatta & Toum; American diner-style food at Manna; Indonesian street food from Bebek! Bebek!; and Japanese sushi and an omakase experience from Sushi Kamon. Drinks from our destination bar, are created using fresh market ingredients to mirror the flavours of the kitchens and a fully-packed calendar of events completes the line-up The Position As Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high quality dishes; you will play a key role in team development, working closely with the Senior team. You will manage the overall teams / sections, including prep schedules, as well as the day to day management of the kitchen team. If you have the following, then we want to hear from you: Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a similar environment; A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail; Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a Kitchen brigade; Experience in managing staff costs, scheduling and reviewing staff rotas; A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures; This is a very exciting opportunity not to be missed for a talented Junior Sous Chef eager to join a restaurant group with ambitious plans.
