About The Role
We're looking for a Food Runner to join our front-line team at one of London's newest and most exciting venues – Arcade Covent Garden! With a buzzing atmosphere, globally inspired kitchens, and electrifying service, this is your chance to be part of one of London's most exciting dining destinations. As a Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience.
The successful candidate in this role will:
- Deliver food and beverages from the Kitchen and Bar to the dining areas
- Communicate with guests in a confident and professional manner
- Maintain & update cleaning schedules, records and checklists
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Adhere to all relevant Food Safety and Health & Safety practices, policies and procedures
- Be in your element delivering top-tier hospitality with a positive vibe and great smile
- Keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams
- Have the opportunity to be cross trained across all areas of the restaurant!
We'd Love To Hear From You If You:
- Bring prior experience as a Food/Bar Runner or similar front of house role.
- Have worked in a high-volume restaurant environment similar to ours.
- Have a passion for food, service and guest experiences.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Are an excellent team player with a positive attitude.
- Are calm, confident and can multitask under pressure.
- Bring a warm and approachable demeanour that naturally connects with guests and colleagues.
