About the role
We’re looking for an experienced second‑in‑command to support the Site Operations Manager of one of London’s exciting venues – Arcade Battersea Power Station. With over £100K in weekly revenue and 1,000 covers a day, this is an opportunity to step into a leadership role at a pioneering concept where global, fresh food and bar brands are created and operated all under one roof.
If you have been a General Manager of a single sizeable site or an experienced Assistant General Manager working in fresh‑food lead restaurants with large cover numbers and large teams, you will be excited by this opportunity and we’d like to meet you.
Key responsibilities
- In the absence of the Site Operations Manager, assume full responsibility for the restaurant operations.
- Lead and motivate a team of 5–6 managers in a positive and engaged manner.
- Ensure maximum revenue and profit is achieved from all sales opportunities in every area (People, Place and Product).
- Support and contribute to admin duties; payroll, financial and performance analysis.
- Complete and submit a monthly quantitative & qualitative people, performance and appraisal report to GM, Ops and Head of People.
- Ensure weekly rotas are completed and costed in line with company guidelines.
- Monitor and report on all weekly variable costs.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new employees in the Kitchen and Restaurant.
- Be an expert in our global menus, cooking techniques, drinks processes, supplier information, flavour profiles, partner brands, and ethos.
- Ensure the Company’s Health & Safety policy is adhered to at all times.

- Bring proven experience as a GM of a single site or an AGM working in fresh‑food leading restaurants with large cover numbers.
- Have a genuine interest for Fresh Food that extends well beyond your professional career.
- Possess a strong commercial mindset with the ability to track and report on P&Ls.
- Have a track record in creating a culture of Health & Safety and Food Safety awareness that allows for a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Bring a problem‑solving mindset, tackling challenges with creativity to help us grow and improve.
- Have proven ability to oversee, lead, train and inspire a sizeable restaurant team.
- Bring excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
