The Role
As a Duct Fitter, you will work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, installing ventilation and ductwork systems to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing ductwork and ventilation systems from drawings and specifications
- Installing spiral, rectangular and associated ductwork
- Fitting grilles, diffusers, dampers and associated components
- Measuring, positioning and securing ductwork
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Working alongside other mechanical and electrical trades on site
- Ensuring installations meet Arcade's quality and safety standards
- Identifying and reporting any installation or site issues
