About the role:

We're looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on General Manager to join our team and help lead one of our high-volume London venues - Arcade Tottenham Court Road. Working closely with the Site Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in running a busy, multi-concept operation, leading large teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This is a role for someone who loves being on the floor, thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to bring together people, service and commercial performance.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the operation: Supporting the Site Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of a high-volume venue, overseeing FOH, Kitchens, Bar and Events, and taking full ownership of the site when required.
• Driving the guest experience: Leading from the floor, maintaining exceptional service standards and making sure every guest enjoys the energy, quality and hospitality Arcade is known for.
• Developing your team: Recruiting, coaching and developing managers and team members, building a strong leadership team and creating opportunities for people to grow.
• Supporting commercial performance: Monitoring sales, labour costs, payroll and departmental performance, identifying opportunities to grow revenue and improve efficiency.
• Keeping standards high: Ensuring health & safety, food safety, licensing and operational standards are consistently maintained across the venue.
• Making things happen: Leading pre-shift briefings, management meetings and training sessions, keeping everyone aligned and ready for busy services.
• Driving continuous improvement: Using guest feedback, sales trends and operational insights to improve service, processes and overall venue performance.
• Bringing Arcade to life: Supporting menu launches, events, activations and new initiatives that keep our venues exciting for guests and teams alike.

We'd love to speak with you if you have:

• Proven experience as a Senior General Manager or General Manager within a high-volume, quality-led hospitality environment (500+ cover per day minimum).
• Experience managing large teams and complex operations across restaurants or multi-concept venues.
• The confidence to be a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor, setting the pace and supporting the team during busy services.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing labour costs, rotas, payroll, budgets and sales performance.
• A genuine passion for developing people, building strong management teams and creating a positive, high-performance culture.
• Demonstrated to be organised, proactive and are comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
• A real passion for food, drink, hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
