ARCA is supporting an aerospace programme to bring in multiple Senior Stress Engineers on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role within an established team, supporting structural analysis across airframe primary and secondary structures.
The work:
- Finite Element modelling and analysis of airframe structures using NASTRAN / HyperMesh
- Execution of delegated stress analysis across the programme
- Fatigue, fracture and vibration analysis to assess structural integrity under load
- Production of stress reports and substantiation documentation
- Working closely with Design and wider engineering teams to resolve stress-driven design challenges
What they’re looking for:
- Strong experience across airframe structures (primary and/or secondary)
- Solid experience with NASTRAN / HyperMesh (or equivalent FEA tools)
- Experience at checking / sign-off level would be advantageous
