Senior Test Engineer (Contract)

Senior Test Engineer Location: Norwich – Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) Contract Type: Permanent or Contract Competitive Salary/ Rate + Benefits We’re looking for a talented and motivated Senior Test Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in testing, validating, and improving next-generation electric propulsion systems. Plan, manage, and operate test facilities and schedules for electric drive systems. Process and analyse test data to ensure reliability and accuracy. Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing training and day-to-day technical support. Perform root cause analysis for test failures and system issues. Degree (BEng/BSc or equivalent) in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Strong experience testing electro-mechanical systems – ideally in the automotive or e-mobility sector. Proficient in NI LabVIEW, MATLAB, and PXI Data Acquisition systems.
