Arca Resourcing is supporting a leading aerospace organisation working on the development of next generation advanced air mobility aircraft technology. The focus is on delivering innovative, safety critical aviation systems with an emphasis on performance, certification and sustainable flight solutions. The organisation is moving from early stage development into a scaling phase, with strong investment in place to support continued engineering development, certification activities and future product introduction.

We are seeking an experienced Avionic Systems Engineer CNS with strong expertise in avionic systems and proven experience across full product lifecycle development.

The Role

  • Lead the design, development and integration of avionic systems including communication, navigation, surveillance and aircraft systems functionality
  • Develop and manage system requirements, technical documentation, interface definitions and verification artefacts across the lifecycle
  • Support system integration, validation, verification and certification activities in line with applicable aerospace standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure system compatibility and successful delivery
  • Support system level testing, troubleshooting and validation activities
  • Contribute to delivery of defined engineering work packages within a wider systems engineering environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in avionic systems engineering
  • Experience in system design, integration, verification and certification
  • Knowledge of aerospace safety and systems engineering standards such as ARP4754, ARP4761 and DO160
  • Understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks including FAA and EASA environments
  • Experience with systems engineering tools and structured requirements management processes
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills
