Project Manager

The role:

Following continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, our client is seeking a Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of complex engineering, manufacturing and product development programmes.

This is an opportunity to join a highly ambitious organisation that combines cutting-edge engineering with real-world applications across safety-critical sectors. The business has grown significantly over recent years and is now looking for a delivery-focused Project Manager who can help bring structure, momentum and execution excellence to a range of strategic initiatives.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a central role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and against business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering and product development projects from concept through to delivery.
• Develop and maintain robust project plans across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing and operational stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Provide clear project reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Support decision-making through the presentation of options, impacts and recommendations.
• Manage changes to project scope, priorities and timelines.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of project delivery processes as the organisation continues to scale.

We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Experience delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Strong project planning and delivery capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies and changing priorities.
• The ability to influence and drive outcomes within cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and accountable approach to delivery.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within:

• Advanced manufacturing
• New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Automotive
• Aerospace
• Defence
• Marine
• Other highly regulated environments

Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP or APM are advantageous but not essential.
