ARCA Consulting is working with a leading infrastructure contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver major HV Transmission & Distribution projects across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior PM from a Tier 1 contractor who has delivered multiple schemes within the power sector and understands the demands of working with DNOs and Transmission Owners (TOs).
The Role
You’ll take ownership of major projects across areas such as
- HV substations
- OHL / transmission
- HV cables and cable routes
- Civils and associated infrastructure
You’ll lead projects from mobilisation through to completion, with responsibility for programme, cost, commercial performance, risk, safety, quality and client relationships.
A strong working knowledge of NEC4 ECC is essential, including experience with early warnings, compensation events, change control and commercial management.
What We're Looking For
We’re particularly interested in Senior Project Managers who have
Tier 1 contractor experience within the power, energy or major infrastructure sector.
- Delivered multiple HV / transmission / distribution schemes .
- Strong experience working with
DNOs and/or Transmission Owners .
- Proven
NEC4 ECC experience.
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
- Experience managing subcontractors, project teams and key stakeholders.
- A track record of delivering complex projects safely, on programme and within budget.
Experience with
CEMAR, P6, outage planning, ASTI, HVDC or NSIP would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
