ARCA is building a nationwide talent pool of Genomics Data Scientists with skills across bioinformatics, biostatistics, computational genomics and large-scale data analysis. We support NHS organisations, research groups and biotech partners and are looking for candidates at all levels for upcoming contract and permanent roles, starting in 2026.
What You’ll Work On:
- Analysis of large genomic datasets (WGS/WES, RNA-Seq, variant calling).
- Developing and maintaining bioinformatics workflows and pipelines.
- Applying statistical modelling to genomic and clinical data.
- Generating insights to support research, clinical decision-making and population health programmes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across science, data and clinical domains.
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Genomics, Data Science or similar.
- Experience with genomic data formats and tools.
- Strong R and/or Python skills.
- Understanding of statistical methods used in biological data analysis.
- Clear communicator with good coding and documentation practices.
- TRE/SDE/HPC experience is a bonus.
