Enterprise Architect

I’m working with a business delivering into a UK government department, and we’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join on an initial 6 month contract. The role is remote and sits Outside IR35.

This position involves providing strategic architectural direction and leadership across a complex casework platform – work that is project-agnostic and capability-based, ensuring architectural coherence across systems.

We’re seeking someone with a strong software engineering background who’s comfortable operating as a technical authority – driving delivery, shaping architecture and providing hands-on technical leadership. You’ll also engage closely with senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

Key Focus:

• Architectural direction, assurance, and leadership across core casework capabilities

• Alignment and integration with dependent systems
