ARCA Resourcing is supporting a fast-paced world-leading engineering organisation specialising in advanced motion simulator technology in the search for a Project Planner. This role sits at the heart of project delivery, ensuring complex simulator programmes are accurately scheduled, tracked, and coordinated across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and integration teams.
The Role
As a Project Planner, you’ll develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate dependencies across disciplines, and provide accurate progress updates to Project Managers and Technical Leads. You’ll help ensure projects stay on track and support both internal and customer-facing reviews in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining multi-phase project schedules across design, procurement, assembly, integration, and testing
- Updating plans with progress data and forecasting schedule impacts
- Tracking milestones and highlighting risks or deviations early
- Leading regular schedule reviews and producing progress reports/dashboards
- Coordinating with technical teams to verify task status
- Supporting bid schedules and baseline updates for contract changes
- Ensuring schedule data integrity and contributing to planning process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in project planning or scheduling within engineering or technical environments
- Strong understanding of dependencies, critical paths, and schedule control
- Confident communicator able to work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- Experience with planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and previous work in engineering/manufacturing sectors.
