ARCA is supporting an aerospace programme to bring in a Lead Design Engineer on a contract basis. The role focuses on design checking support to address peak detailed design and release activity across the delivery phases.
- Design & Checking of 3D CAD models for geometry, interfaces and standards compliance
- Design & Checking of 2D drawings for dimensions, tolerances, notes and release readiness
- Verification of interface consistency across related parts and assemblies
- Experience operating at design check / approval level is a strong advantage
- Composite design experience would be beneficial
Contract: 4–5 months initially – outside IR35
Location: Bristol with hybrid working
