We are looking for an experienced Hardware Technician to support the build and development of advanced electric drive systems in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Building, modifying, and maintaining prototype motors, inverters, wiring harnesses, and test boxes
- PCB assembly, soldering, rework, and fault finding
- Supporting prototype testing, data capture, and issue resolution
- Working closely with engineers to interpret drawings, BOMs, and design updates
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and fully operational engineering lab
- Managing tooling, calibration, stock, and consumables
- Ensuring accurate build documentation and configuration control
- Working safely with AC/DC systems up to 600V / 25kW
- Contributing to continuous improvement of lab processes and workflows
