Contract opportunity in the Greater Norwich area for an experienced Test Technician to support the development and validation of cutting-edge electric drive systems. This role involves working at the forefront of electric propulsion technology, operating advanced dynamometer facilities and supporting innovative engineering programmes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Setting up and operating dynamometers, test rigs, and associated equipment
- Installing motors, inverters, gearboxes, and units under test
- Configuring sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
- Running performance, durability, efficiency, and validation testing
- Monitoring tests, identifying faults, and ensuring safe, repeatable execution
- Capturing, validating, and logging test data accurately
- Supporting engineers with analysis and reporting of results
- Maintaining and calibrating dynos, sensors, and test equipment
- Troubleshooting rig and equipment issues
- Helping improve test methods, fixtures, and facility capability
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient test environment
What We’re Looking For:
