ARCA is partnered with a client in the aerospace sector who is looking for an experienced Senior Stress Engineer to join their team. You will provide structural analysis delivery support to the rotor system programme, executing delegated stress analysis.
The work:
- Finite Element modelling and analysis using NASTRAN / HyperMesh
- Performance of composite laminate analysis
- Conduct fatigue, fracture and vibration analysis to ensure durability and reliability under mission loads
- Production of stress reports and substantiation documentation
- Working closely with design and wider engineering teams to resolve stress-driven design challenges
What they’re looking for:
- Solid experience with NASTRAN / HyperMesh (or equivalent FEA tools)
- Linear and non-linear static / Dynamic analysis
- Experience at checking / sign-off level would be advantageous
