Perspicuity, an Arc company, is seeking a Modern Workplace Principal Consultant to support our growing business and Sales Team. The Modern Workplace Principal Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering successful pre‑sales and discovery engagements, as well as overseeing the implementation and full lifecycle delivery of customer solutions using M365, SharePoint, and Power Platform technologies as the project lead.
The candidate will have extensive experience working across various industries, from SMEs to enterprise‑scale solutions, providing technical expertise and support throughout the pre‑sales process, supporting the sales and delivery teams in delivering successful engagements. They will be responsible for influencing the technical direction of all M365, Power Platform, and Modern Work pre‑sales activities to deliver solutions for customers through excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities include delivery of discovery engagements, facilitating workshops, capturing detailed requirements, and presenting the ‘art of the possible’ in M365, Teams, SharePoint, Purview, Power Platform and Copilot. The candidate will have extensive experience in producing well‑architected solutions and defining the scope of delivery to meet customer requirements; key deliverables will include technical reports, solution designs, written sales proposals and tender responses including considered estimates. The candidate will be proficient in presenting to a business audience and capable of differentiating product offerings at a technical level.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable supervising multiple engagements at all stages of the lifecycle, mentoring colleagues, be self‑motivated, and stay up to date with current technology trends. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and influence the technical direction during pre‑sales engagements.
- Create and deliver high‑quality product demonstrations and solutions that showcase the capabilities of Microsoft 365, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and Microsoft best practices.
- Understand customer pain points and elicit appropriate requirements.
- Work with the customer to design an implementation strategy to meet their requirements.
- Translate business requirements into a Scope of Works, Technical Solution Design with associated estimated project costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align projects with both the company's and customers' best interests.
- Analyze tender documents to understand the technical requirement, tender document writing and working closely with the sales and projects team to develop a clear bid strategy.
- Produce clear and concise documentation that is of a high standard.
- Keep up to date on changes and developments with Microsoft Cloud technologies.
- Present a technical solution and project delivery approach to senior stakeholders.
- Work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment where clients have urgent needs.
- Deliver training on a train‑the‑trainer basis.
