The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Salary: Negotiable with average bonus c. 6% (£2,000) + pension contribution to 13% (£4,150)

Office/WFH: 3 days office + 2 days WFH

Requirements: Pensions administration experience is essential, ideally with a background in either SIPP, DC or DB schemes.

Role Snapshot: Overseeing pension payroll cycles, managing daily process control & data quality reports, executing the monthly PAYE payment to HMRC. A chance for those with pensions administration experience to take a change in direction and add to your skillset within a business known for their training & development.

The Company/Team: This is a permanent role within a team of 4 people and part of a much bigger SIPP and pensions division. This area of the business processes the more complex elements of SIPP administration including benefit calculations/payment, divorce cases, QROPS transfers and payroll management.

The Role: The first few weeks in this Pensions Process Specialist role will focus on training, especially on the payroll elements of the post as our client does not expect that experience. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Organise & oversee the regular pension payroll cycles and all other related work
  • Manage daily process control & data quality reports, monitoring & reconciliation
  • Oversee & execute the monthly PAYE payment to HMRC
  • Support tax or other operational payroll processing queries
  • Maintain/update team procedures, process flows & quick guides where any process changes or improvements are made
  • Handle platform incidents relating to Benefits processes including payroll
  • Case management of technical/complex instructions to ensure the best possible client outcome

Skills / Experience Required: For this Pensions Process Specialist post, you must have proven administration experience with either SIPP, DC or DB pension schemes, ideally with an understanding of HMRC rules which govern pension transfers & benefit payments. You should be well organised, able to multi-task, have good attention to detail as well as being a strong communicator and confident with MS Office.
