We are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repair Technician to join a brand-new, purpose-built accident repair business. Responsibilities of a Panel Beater
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and company repair standards.
- Assessing damaged vehicles and determining the appropriate repair method
- Carrying out structural and non-structural body repairs
- Removing and replacing damaged panels
- Straightening and repairing vehicle bodywork
- Welding and fabrication where required
- Repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Working alongside MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and other workshop staff
- Ensuring repairs are completed within agreed timeframes
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Following all company health & safety procedures
Requirements for Panel Beater
We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater with a background in automotive accident repair / vehicle body repair.
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater within an Accident Repair Centre / Body Shop
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
- Experience repairing both structural and non-structural damage
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to work efficiently to repair targets and deadlines
- A strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- The ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
- ATA accreditation, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential.
