We're looking for an organised and proactive Rota & Staff Engagement Coordinator to join a growing organisation supporting children and young people through specialist programmes.
This is a varied role combining workforce planning, rota management and staff engagement.
You'll take ownership of scheduling, ensuring services are fully staffed while building positive relationships with colleagues across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage workforce scheduling using a digital rota system.
- Produce and maintain staff rotas well in advance.
- Ensure staffing levels meet operational and safeguarding requirements.
- Monitor workforce capacity and identify future staffing needs.
- Coordinate cover for sickness, annual leave and emergency absences.
- Advertise available shifts and encourage early uptake.
- Build strong relationships with operational managers and frontline staff.
- Act as the main point of contact for rota-related queries.
- Maintain accurate staff records, training and availability.
- Produce rota and workforce reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve workforce planning and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.

- Previous experience managing staff rotas or workforce scheduling.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
