A growing UK manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and develop its production operation through a major growth phase. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for the full production process, team leadership, quality, health & safety, and cost control. The position offers genuine long-term progression into senior operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full production lifecycle from order intake to dispatch
- Plan and schedule production to meet delivery deadlines
- Lead, develop, and motivate production teams
- Control labour, material, and overhead costs
- Ensure high standards of quality and health & safety
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support the introduction of new products and equipment
- Proven experience as a Production / Manufacturing Manager
- Background in doors, windows, uPVC, composite products, or related manufacturing
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Experience controlling production costs and budgets
- Hands-on approach in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Fenestration, uPVC, or composite door manufacturing experience
- Lean / continuous improvement exposure
