Customer Service Coordinator in Halifax

We’re looking for an experienced Customer Service professional to join our clients' busy team. This is a varied role covering customer service, order processing, administration, reporting and process improvement. You’ll deal directly with customers, making sure orders are processed accurately and queries are dealt with quickly, while also helping to improve processes and systems within the business. The role will include: * Processing customer orders and dealing with customer enquiries * Managing complaints, delivery queries, shortages and service issues * Maintaining accurate customer and order information * Producing reports and monitoring customer service performance * Creating and updating SOPs and process documentation * Identifying recurring problems and helping to improve processes * Supporting CRM, ERP and other customer service systems * Working closely with sales, warehouse, transport, purchasing and finance teams We’re looking for someone with previous experience in customer service, administration or an operational support role. Experience within FMCG, food, drink, wholesale or distribution would be useful. You’ll need good attention to detail, strong organisational skills and confidence using Excel and other business systems. Experience with reporting, process improvement or writing SOPs would be an advantage. This would suit someone who enjoys dealing with customers but also likes looking at how things can be done better and more efficiently
