An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established business on a maternity cover basis. This is a fully office-based role within a small, supportive finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing credit control processes in line with company policy
- Allocating and reconciling cash and sales ledger accounts
- Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts (GBP, USD, EUR)
- Setting up new customer accounts, including credit checks and terms
- Chasing outstanding debt and resolving customer queries
- Maintaining accurate records for audit and compliance purposes
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Competent in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) advantageous
