Job Title: Driver (D9 Licence) – Temp to Perm Location: Halifax Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Working Hours: Must be able to cover at least 30hrs per week – Hours do vary. Salary: £12.21ph plus holiday pay. Job Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver with a valid D9 licence to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a flexible part-time position, offering between 25 and 38 hours per week, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance. Key Responsibilities: * Operate vehicles in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all road safety regulations. * Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. * Transport goods/materials to and from designated locations as required. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage. * Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members. * Provide excellent customer service where necessary. Requirements: * Must hold a valid D9 driving licence. * Proven driving experience with a clean driving record. * Availability to work flexible shifts (within 25–30 hours per week). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious. * Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
