We are looking for an experienced individual, VP-Senior Analyst, who will be one of the key analytical leaders in ARC’s Structured Finance Ratings unit in London reporting into the Co–Heads of Structured Finance. ABOUT THE JOB

The successful candidate will:

• Lead the analysis of Structured Finance ratings and assessments on a diversified portfolio of asset classes, including issuer meetings, preparing committee papers, reviewing press releases, and research reports;
• Lead communication of rating discussions and rationale to market participants, including investment bankers, lawyers, rating advisors, and senior management of issuers;
• Represent ARC in stakeholder meetings and conferences;
• Lead discussions during rating committees, involving recommendations for Structured Finance ratings, and communicate ARC\’s credit opinions externally for new ratings and reviews;
• Work with Sector Heads and Head of Methodologies to review and develop methodologies in Structured Finance;
• Initiate and write sector commentaries and topical research, and contribute to publishing research pieces on ARC\’s website;
• Attend meetings with clients and bankers to communicate ratings and rationale to senior executives;
• Participate in management discussions, mentor, and develop other analysts in Structured Finance to help grow ARC Ratings’ Structured Finance unit.

Qualifications:

• Academic degree (BSc/MSc/MBA or equivalent) in finance, mathematics, engineering, law, or related fields. Advanced degrees/CFA beneficial.
• Multiple years of relevant experience in Structured Finance.
• Substantial knowledge of securitization asset classes is critical.
• Credit analysis experience and knowledge of structured finance in emerging markets is beneficial.
• Credibility and gravitas to work effectively as part of the leadership team, with resilience to provide insight and challenge at the executive level.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA/UK regularly.
