Job Description:

As a junior analyst, assist with the analysis and review of all quantitative, structural, legal, and credit aspects of securitisation transactions both in a primary and surveillance capacity.

  • Analyse asset pools, assess transaction structures, and model cash flows using ARC’s methodologies to formulate independent credit opinions. Review legal documentation and third-party reports.
  • Assist in preparing rating committee papers on structured finance ratings.
  • Participate in, or initiate, sector analyses, topical research, and trend reviews.
  • Contribute to rating methodologies development.
  • Engage with issuers, investors, and bankers.
  • Conduct originator and servicer reviews and investor outreach meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic record in finance, law, engineering, mathematics, real estate, economics, statistics, or related fields.
  • CFA/CQF is advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • No previous structured finance experience required.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Understanding of investment markets.
  • Financial modeling skills are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel and understanding of accounting and industry regulations are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish, Italian, or French is a plus.
  • Ability to travel within EMEA/UK.
  • High ethical standards, independent judgment, and effective communication skills.
  • Proactive, diligent, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
