About Arc Potential is working with an established contractor looking to strengthen its project delivery team with an experienced Electrical Project Manager from an electrical, M&E or main contractor background. Based from Falkirk, the role will oversee projects across Central Scotland, predominantly Edinburgh and Glasgow. The Role
- You will manage electrical projects from start through to handover across sectors including healthcare, education, retail, commercial and industrial.
- Project values range from around £400k to several million pounds, offering a good mix of project size and complexity.
- Manage electrical projects from start through to handover.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers, materials and project programmes.
- Monitor progress, costs, variations and commercial performance.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
- Resolve technical and delivery issues as they arise.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, site teams and project stakeholders.
- Oversee quality, health and safety, testing and commissioning.
- Manage defect resolution, closeout and handover documentation.
- Keep multiple live projects progressing to programme.
About You
- You will be an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a background working for an electrical contractor, M&E contractor or main contractor, delivering similar commercial and industrial projects.
- Experience managing multiple live projects would be highly beneficial.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and building services.
- Confidence leading site teams and managing subcontractors.
- Good commercial awareness, including project costs and variations.
- Strong organisation, planning and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across live projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Full right to work in the UK.
