Working Foreman / Site Supervisor in Cambridge

Location : Cambridge

Contract : 3 months (potential extension)

Start Date : End of November / Early December

Rate : Competitive (DOE)

Project : NHS offices / commercial office refurbishment

About the Role

We\’re working with a well-established contractor who is looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Site Supervisor to join their team on a refurbishment project in Cambridge.

The role will start with some hands-on work — including removing stud walls, carpet tiles, and doors — before moving into a supervisory position, managing trades on site and reporting to the Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Carry out initial hands-on works during the strip-out phase
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades
• Maintain site records and report progress to the Contracts Manager
• Ensure health & safety compliance at all times

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Managers Card
• SMSTS and First Aid certification
• Proven experience supervising commercial or refurbishment projects
