This is a mobile position covering Milton Keynes, working within 30 minutes of your home address, with any additional travel fully paid. Working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am–5pm). Optional evening and weekend work available.

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to carry out EICRs and electrical testing across domestic social housing properties in the Milton Keynes area. This is a permanent role offering steady work, realistic workloads, and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
  • Electrical testing and inspection to current regulations
  • Identify defects and accurately record findings
  • Complete reports using digital systems
  • Carry out minor remedial works where required
  • Work independently while meeting quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • NvQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360 / 2330 Part 1 & 2
  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations
  • Full UK driving licence
