What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and coordinating container movements from Felixstowe and London Gateway
- Managing your own fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and strong service delivery
- Building positive, professional relationships with drivers and keeping communication clear and consistent
- Taking ownership of daily challenges and resolving issues quickly and effectively
- Booking and managing VBS slots accurately to keep operations on track
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in transport planning, ideally within container or haulage operations
- Ability to stay organised and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment
- Knowledge of port operations and VBS systems
- Familiarity with TOPS (beneficial but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive, motivated mindset with the confidence to take ownership of your work
- Good attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
